We are a cross-disciplinary group of researchers from the Division of Architectural Engineering at AAU BUILD. Our research spans multiple scales of the built environment, from cities and building portfolios to individual buildings and technical systems.

By combining expertise in areas such as smart-meter data, building energy performance, district heating, building management systems, HVAC operation, simulation, and machine learning, we explore how data can support better decisions throughout the built environment. Our different perspectives allow us to connect detailed system-level insights with broader challenges related to energy efficiency, renovation, operation, and sustainable urban development
